Mosey on over to the Witte Museum to see original posters, photographs, artifacts and films of the Wild West. How the West Was Fun! Circus, Saddles and the Silver Screen opens September 21st.

Wild West Shows and their performers led large international audiences to the silver screen; where old, new, dishonest and true stories of the West are still told today. These historic western shows laid the foundation for western entertainments that still persist today.

How the West was Fun! Circus, Saddles and the Silver Screen is now open in the Russell Hill Rogers Art Gallery located in the Robert J. and Helen C. Kleberg South Texas Heritage Center and is included with General Witte Museum admission.
