Science is Out of this World: An Evening for Educators

Explore space with the Witte Museum! Learn about the GAVRT space telescope and how you can use this resource in your classroom. Participate in a hands-on activity you can use as a pre-visit lesson to get your students excited to visit Planet Pioneers: Explore>Adapt>Survive. Discover upcoming exhibitions at the Witte that will enhance classroom learning, and finish the night with a guided exploration of the spring exhibition, Planet Pioneers, which will provide real-world examples of concepts covered by Earth and Space Science TEKS for elementary, middle and high school, and give you the opportunity to touch the moon and Mars!
