Join the Witte Museum South Texas Heritage Curator Bruce Shackelford, collector Frank Holcomb and Map Curator Mylynka Cardona , PhD. from the Texas General Land Office for a special presentation inspired by the exhibition Mapping Texas : From Frontier to Lone Star State. Enjoy this stunning collection of rare maps, some never-before displayed, and follow the transformation of Texas from an unexplored frontier to the modern Lone Star State through the eyes of historical cartographers.
