“Family and Friends for an Active, Relaxed Life”

Some of my goals when I started this adventure were to watch my food portions and to become more active by going out for walks more with my family.  I feel that my family and friends are what helped me achieve my goals.  I would go to the park with my mom at least twice a week to go walking.  Having a friend and a pal makes the time go faster, so you don’t even realize how far you’ve gone til you’ve finished!

During this H-E-B Body Adventure training, I learned how to relax by getting outside and being with nature, with the trees and flowers.  It gives you a relaxing sense of everything–taking deep breaths, doing your stretching outside, and walking along the beautiful trails and parks we have here in San Antonio.
